Hello World! Its my very first blog and it indeed feels great to have a presence in web universe. I would like to thank the Almighty God for helping me to take the first step towards my blogging journey.

But Why?

So why did I start a blog? I have always had fascination towards open-source softwares and tools. For almost every paid proprietary software, ranging from OS to image/video editors, from word processor to complex scientific computing software, we have equivalent open-source counterpart exists. They get regular updates, got huge developer community support and mainly, they come free which is pretty much awesome.  

I have always wanted to contribute to open source community and this is a small contribution towards that. Speaking about me, I come from a ETL development background and have worked in several ETL tools.

What is this blog all about?

I will be writing about Data Warehousing concepts, open-source ETL and Reporting/Business Intelligence tools and useful tech tips based on my experience in simple manner.
